Nursery Playground Project in Al Rawdah, Dammam

Ebaza Gardens has recently completed an outdoor playground project for a nursery in Al Rawdah, Dammam, creating a dedicated play area where young children can move, play, and enjoy outdoor activities in a safe and comfortable setting.

The nursery needed a playground that would suit younger children while making good use of the available outdoor space. Based on the site requirements, we installed a combined slide and swing playground unit with different swing options, giving children several ways to play within one compact setup.

The finished playground brings together active play, movement, and simple physical challenges in an area designed for everyday nursery use.

Scope of Work

Our work for the Al Rawdah nursery project included the planning, supply, and installation of the outdoor playground equipment.

The main scope included:

• Reviewing the available outdoor play area
• Selecting equipment suitable for nursery-age children
• Supplying the playground structure and play components
• Installing the slide and multi-seat swing unit
• Setting up the equipment securely in the designated area
• Checking the installed structure and play components before completion

The layout was kept practical so that children could use the different play elements without requiring a large playground footprint.

Equipment Installed

The main playground unit installed at the nursery included:

Outdoor Slide

An outdoor plastic slide was installed as part of the main playground structure. Its smooth surface provides children with an easy and enjoyable way to use the equipment while adding a more active element to the play area.

Multi-Seat Swings

The playground includes three different swing seats, giving children options based on their age and comfort level:

• Two standard swing seats
• One bucket-style toddler swing seat

The bucket seat provides additional support for younger children, while the standard seats are suitable for children who can use a conventional swing independently.

Raised Play Platform

The slide connects to a raised play platform with access steps. This gives children another simple physical activity as they climb up before using the slide.

Materials Used

The playground structure uses metal posts and a metal upper frame with a durable coated finish. The play structure is finished in bright colors that make the area more attractive and welcoming for children.

The slide and swing seats are made from durable plastic, while the swing chains are made from metal. For a nursery environment, these materials offer a practical combination of durability, easy maintenance, and everyday usability.

Playground Benefits for the Nursery 

The completed playground gave the nursery a dedicated outdoor space where children can take part in different types of active play.

Instead of having a single play activity, the installed unit combines climbing, sliding, swinging, and movement in one setup. This helps make better use of the available space while giving children different activities to enjoy.

The combination of standard swings and a toddler bucket seat also makes the playground more suitable for a nursery where children may be at different stages of physical development.

Most importantly, the project transformed the previously unused outdoor area into a more purposeful and engaging play space for the children.
