Ebaza Gardens installed a complete outdoor playground in a farmhouse in Audat Sudair, Saudi Arabia, featuring a green slide, a nest swing, a multi-seat swing set, and a seesaw, all set on soft sand within a defined play zone.

Some of the best playgrounds start with a simple question from a family: “Where will the children play when they visit?” That is how this project began. The owners of a farmhouse in Audat Sudair wanted more than open land and shade trees for their kids. They wanted a dedicated, safe corner of the property where children could swing, slide, and rock for hours while the adults relaxed nearby.

Ebaza Gardens was asked to design and install that space. This case study walks through how we did it, what we installed, and what the family gained.

Scope of Work: How We Built It

We treated this as a full playground build rather than a delivery of equipment, and the work followed a clear sequence.

1. Site assessment. Our team walked the farmhouse grounds and chose a flat, open area with good visibility from the family’s seating space. The surrounding hedge of mature trees gave natural shade and a green backdrop.
2. Defining the play zone. We outlined the area with concrete curb edging. This keeps the sand contained, separates the play space from the surrounding soil, and gives the playground a neat, finished look.
3. Surface preparation. The ground was leveled and filled with clean, fine sand, a soft and forgiving landing surface that is well suited to the region’s climate.
4. Anchoring the equipment. Each structure was fixed at its base with rubber footing pads and secured so the frames stay stable under constant use. The seesaw is mounted on a concrete block base for extra grounding.
5. Assembly and safety checks. Chains, seats, hooks, and ladders were assembled, tightened, and tested. We checked swing heights, ladder spacing, and exit areas before handing the playground over.
6. Evening readiness. The playground was finished and tested after dark as well, which matters on a farmhouse where families often gather in the cooler night hours.

Equipment Installed

The mix of equipment was chosen so children of different ages could all find something to enjoy.

• Green plastic slide with a white steel ladder. A smooth, wave-shaped slide in bright green, supported by a sturdy powder-coated ladder frame.

• Red A-frame swing set. A three-position set with a flat belt seat, a rubber seat, and a bucket seat with safety support for toddlers.
• Blue seesaw. A two-sided rocker with grab handles that teaches balance and rewards teamwork.
