Project Description
Children need more than just an open space to play. They need an environment that encourages movement, supports physical development, and allows families to spend quality time outdoors. To meet this need, a new outdoor playground was installed at BEC Arabia – Therba Medical Center in AlUla, creating a dedicated recreation area that is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for children of different age groups.
The completed playground brings together climbing, sliding, balancing, and swinging activities within a shaded environment, giving children more opportunities to stay active while helping parents and caregivers supervise them with ease. Designed for everyday use, the play area also adds value to the facility by creating a welcoming outdoor space for visiting families.
Playground Design & Layout
The playground was planned to make the best use of the available outdoor space while keeping every activity easily accessible.
The main play structure was positioned at the center of the site, with swings and balance activities installed in separate areas to allow children to move safely between different play zones. Large shade canopies were installed above the playground to improve comfort throughout the day.
The open layout also provides clear visibility for parents and caregivers supervising children.

Installation Process
