Playground Equipment Installation in Dammam–Al Khobar

Ebaza Gardens recently completed this children’s play area in the Dammam–Al Khobar area, installing a mix of slides, swings and freestanding activities on an existing artificial-grass surface.

The completed setup includes a multi-activity structure with three different slide options, a spring seesaw, an animal-themed merry-go-round and a separate swing frame. The pieces were arranged around the available space so each activity had its own usable area without making the site feel crowded.

Scope of Work

Before installation, the team reviewed the site dimensions, existing surface and the space required around each activity. The layout was then planned around the larger play structure, with the freestanding pieces positioned where they could be used comfortably.

Work on site included:

• Assembling and positioning the main play structure
• Fixing the supporting posts and elevated platforms
• Installing the spiral, straight and double slides
• Fitting the access staircase, handrails and guard panels
• Securing the spring seesaw to the ground
• Installing and aligning the merry-go-round
• Assembling the swing frame and fitting the different swing seats
• Checking connections, anchoring points and moving components after installation

The existing artificial grass was retained, allowing the new play features to be added without unnecessarily changing the surrounding surface.

What Was Installed

Multi-Activity Play Structure

The multi play unit combines several activities in one compact structure. It features raised platforms, access stairs, colourful side panels and three slide options. A red spiral slide provides a curved descent, while the long blue slide offers a traditional straight route. A teal double slide gives two children space to slide alongside each other. Safety rails and metal handrails are fitted around the raised sections and staircase to provide support while moving between levels.

Two-Seat Spring Seesaw

A purple spring seesaw with two moulded seats was installed as a separate ground-level activity. Its simple two-person design adds an activity that children can use together without occupying a large section of the site.

Animal-Themed Merry-Go-Round

The rotating unit includes colourful animal-shaped seats with individual handholds. It provides a shared activity for several children and adds a different type of movement from the slides and swings.

Multi-Seat Swing Frame

The multi swing section includes different seat styles, including a supportive toddler seat and standard swing seats. Using more than one seat type makes the area suitable for children at different stages rather than limiting the kids swing section to a single design.

What This Project Added to the Space

The biggest improvement was the range of activities now available within the same area.

Children can climb the stairs, choose between different slides, use the swings, ride the seesaw or play together on the merry-go-round. This spreads activity around the site and gives children more choice during each visit.
